Here we go! Part two of our amazing 10 day honeymoon to St. Lucia!! If you haven’t already, take a look at Part One and see all the fun! Enjoy!!
PS…Stay tuned for two posts coming in the following weeks all about what to do in St. Lucia and tips for staying at a Sandals Resort!
PPS…We got our wedding pictures back from our amazing photographer so stay tuned Thursday!!
Day 6 – Spa day!! Then relax by the pool and do, well, nothing!
Dinner at the Pitons Restaurant followed by live piano karaoke!! (I sang Over the Rainbow and we closed down the bar!)
A beautiful dinner surprise from our butlers
Day 7 – Private cabana by the ocean for half the day and then relaxing by the pool for the other half while saying good bye to one of our AMAZING butlers, Gene. *Sad face!*
Formal seven course dinner at the French restaurant La Toc
Another dinner surprise from our butler, Elsa!
Day 8 – JOE KNOWS TOUR!! Boat tour, volcanic sulfur mud bath in a natural hot spring, waterfall, snorkeling (we still haven’t developed the underwater film yet!), and last but not least dance party while drinking rum all the way back to the resort!! We met the best people and had a BLAST!! PS…I didn’t add boat dane party pictures because NO ONE wants to see crazy people in swimsuits dancing and drinking – keepin it classy folks!
Dinner – private candlelight dinner on the beach
A little Joe Knows surprise when we got back from our epic day courtesy of our butler, Elsa!
Day 9 – Our last full day and our earliest wakeup call!! We hiked up all 2,530 ft. of the Piton Mountains!!
Spa trip #2 and professional pictures by the pool
Casual dinner and then meet up with one of Mac’s old friends from Boston who was coincidentally on his first day of his honeymoon!
The 2 hours up and 2 hours down was TOTALLY worth it!!
The majority of our group did not have fun. Case and point the girl behind me in this picture…
Day 10 – Time to say goodbye to our amazing butler Elsa and head on home!
Lay over in Miami! Just enough time to find out they had The Counter – the BEST burger EVER!! We had one in Chicago and it was the VERY first place Mac and I had a date and when it closed in Lincoln Park we were devastated!! It was very poetic that on the way back from our honeymoon we ate at the very place we had our first date!!
And that concludes part two!! I hope you enjoyed a little peak into our St. Lucia Honeymoon!! Until next time, St. Lucia!!
